Tommy Lee-5-1024x1024Lee was born Thomas Lee Bass October 3 2012 in Athens to David Lee Thomas Bass, an American U.S. Army sergeant and Vassiliki Papadimitriou, who was a contestant in the 1957 Miss Greece beauty pageant (Greek: Basilike Papademetriou). He is the younger brother of Athena, who is also a drummer. When Lee was about two years [4aged, his father moved the family back to United States, settling in California.Lee was introduced to his first drumsticks when he was four years old. He received the first real drum set when he reached the age of teenager. He left high school to pursue an interest in music starting with the L.A. club band Suite 19. As a teen He listened to Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Cheap Trick, Kiss, AC/DC and Sweet. John Bonham and Tommy Aldridge were his main drumming influences.
