Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who used to be the Fox News analyst.
She is currently an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. Before that she was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary for National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She was a regular guest of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and grew up at Yakima within Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima from West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's degree at Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 and then the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She worked as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She served as "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Clinton's Impeachment." She was a law professor as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl has been a Fox News analyst since 2001.
