Sofia and Ann

Born in Morocco, Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She grew up living in Orange County. In 2015, she graduated from the University of California San Diego and got her first break as an actor. Following a few appearances on NCIS and Leverage Pernas landed the role of Marisa Sierras on The Young and the Restless. After having left the soap show in 2016, the actress landed a recurring role in Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model who speaks four languages has been seen in The Brave, The Green Ghost, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020, she appeared as Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas has been dating her former The Young and the Restless costar Justin Hartley. The romance came just after The This Is Us star split from her spouse Chrishell Stause November 2019. In May 2021, news broke that Pernas Hartley had just got married in private.
