Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered one of the sport's greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast to win 4 gold medals. She also won the title of world champion for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles together with her siblings Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents from Houston. Simone began to be interested in gymnastics while she was only six years old. Her coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them on an excursion. Biles earned a silver in vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Then she moved on to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. In less than two years, she had become the best in her sport. Biles stood out for her consistently high performance and exuberant persona, and the difficulty she encountered at each of the four events including vaulting, uneven bars, and balance beam.
